There will be a Memorial Service at 11 AM Saturday February 9, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church Hubbard for Scott N. Fabry, 33, formerly of Lowellville who passed away in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Scott was born January 12, 1980 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Leonard & Frances Fabry.
He was a 1998 graduate of Lowellville High School, where he participated in football, basketball, and track. He continued his education at Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration majoring in accounting and economics. While at college he ran with the Westminster Cross Country Team and his love of running continued throughout his life. He competed in and finished two Boston Marathons. He also ran numerous half marathons, other running events and belonged to a number of running clubs including the Youngstown Road Runners Club.
Prior to college Scott had been the director of the Hubbard Pool and head life guard at Chestnut Ridge Park in Hubbard.
Scott worked as an accountant with various public accounting firms in the Youngstown, New Castle area. While living in Florida his primary employment was with Storm Tight windows as a sales manager. Scott also enjoyed outdoor activities fishing, hunting, and numerous other sports.
Scott will be sadly missed by his family; his parents Len & Frances of Lowellville; his brother Shawn Fabry of St. Louis, Missouri; his sister Candace Fabry of Boardman; his nephew Jacob Fabry; and his grandfather Charles Amicone of Lowellville.
He also leaves his aunts Rosemary (Emil) Dutko of Hubbard; and Carol (Daryl) David of New York.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents John & Anna Fabry, and his grandmother Antonette Amicone all of Lowellville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Scott to Grace Lutheran Church 111 Hall Avenue Hubbard, Ohio 44425.
