Services will be held 11 AM Thursday September 27, 2012 at Christ Community Church in Campbell
for Mildred D. Kish age 90, of Campbell who passed away Saturday September 22, 2012 at home surrounded by her family.
Mildred was born May 22, 1922 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of George & Mary Rice Watkins and was a lifelong area resident.
She worked at Aldens Catalog Store in Youngstown for 12 years, and Hills Department Store for 9 years in Lincoln Knolls Plaza in Youngstown.
She was a member of Christ Community Church in Campbell where she taught Sunday School and was the head of the kitchen for many years. She also the past president of the Madison School PTA, and was a member of Campbell Homemakers Club. She loved to bake and was the caretaker to her family members. She was an avid reader of the bible, starting every day with her daily passages including the 23rd Psalm.
Mildred was a riveter at Truscon Steel during World War II.
Her husband Edward W. Kish whom she married May 15, 1943 passed away November 7, 1990.
She will be sadly missed by her family; her children Sandra (William) Hupp of Campbell, Sherry (Shamel) Rushwin of Rochester Hills, MI., Beverly (Gary) Andrews of Youngstown, Darlene Benyo Cole of Niles, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
She also leaves her sister Mary Lou Smith of Almont, Michigan.
Besides her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Melva Litman, Emma Smith, and two grandchildren Nicole Benyo and Jamille Rushwin.
There will be calling hours on Wednesday September 26, 2012 from 5-8 PM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home and Thursday September 27, 2012 one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM at Christ Community Church in Campbell.
Burial will be at Jackson Cemetery.
