Edward Lee Snyder

U.S. Veteran

There will be services at 2:00 PM on Saturday March 23, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard for Edward Lee Snyder, known as “Lee” age 80 of Hubbard, who passed away March 20, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Warren.

Edward was born November 18, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Kenneth & Mary Lee Hill Jones.

He was a high lift operator at Federal Wholesale retiring in 1994. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard, and was an Early Bird Swimmer at the Hubbard Pool.

He loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed woodworking, camping, and helping others.

Edward was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife the former Mary Lou Boley whom he married August 8, 1981; his daughters Valerie Lynn Richards; Glynis (Ron) Williams , his stepchildren Marylyn Sees, Randall (Kathleen) Antonucci, Cheryl (Bob) Maskrey, Kenneth (Julie) Antonucci, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

He also leaves his brother Bob Simpson of Youngstown, Ohio, and his sister Sarah Hazen of Greenville, PA.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Forrest Simpson.

There will be calling hours Friday March 22, 2013 from 7-9 PM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home and Saturday March 23, 2013 from 1:30-2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard.

Edward will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery.
