Margaret Belle Swisher Brownlee

There will be services at 11 AM Sunday July 15, 2012 at Coitsville Presbyterian Church, Coitsville Township, Ohio for Margaret Belle Swisher Brownlee age 94, of Anaheim Hills, CA., formerly of Youngstown, who passed away Tuesday June 19, 2012 at Placentia-Linda Hospital in Placentia, CA.

Margaret was born October 8, 1917 in Columbus, Ohio a daughter of Carl & Myrtle Kent Swisher.

She was a bailiff for 20 years at Mahoning County Courthouse in Youngstown, and later an early education specialist at Grandma’s Finest in Tucker, Georgia.

She was a member of Coitsville Presbyterian Church in Coitsville Township, Ohio.

Her husband Atty. Jay C. Brownlee whom she married July 10, 1943 passed away December 4, 1969.

She is survived by her children, M. Jaynean (Edsel) Todd of Stone Mountain, GA., Kent (Jean) Brownlee of Tustin, CA., Karen Brownlee Spradlin of Anaheim Hills, CA., 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She also leaves her brother Richard Swisher of Columbus, Ohio.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, her son Jay Brownlee Jr., 2 sisters and 3 brothers.

There will be calling hours Sunday July 15, 2012 one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM at Coitsville Presbyterian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Coitsville Presbyterian Church 91 Coitsville Hubbard Road Youngstown, Ohio 44505.

Burial will be at Jackson Cemetery in Coitsville Township, Ohio.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home in Hubbard, Ohio.
