Winifred “Fritzie” McConnell, age 91 passed away Tuesday May 29, 2012 at Gillette Nursing Home in Warren, Ohio.

Winifred was born June 17, 1920 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Stanley & Louilla Wolford Warner.

She was the co-founder of Hubbard Lumber, Inc. with her husband Hugh McConnell.

She was a member of Lakeside Community Church in Clearwater, FL.

Her husband Hugh McConnell whom she married October 9, 1940 died January 20, 1978.

She is survived by her sons George McConnell of Girard, Robert McConnell of Lake Milton, Donn McConnell of Hubbard, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and her foster daughter Mildred Cocain.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, and her brother Robert Warner.

There are no calling hours or services.

Burial will be in Clearwater, Fl. next to her husband Hugh.
